KAAVYA BAGS 1ST PRIZE @INTERNATIONAL ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION
Kaavya Prinja took part in an International Essay Writing Competition organized by Gratitude Consultancy in August. In the international results, announced on 25 August 2021, her essay on the topic “My personal experience of Online Classes’ and perspective on future of Blended Learning’ has been adjudged the best entry. Along with the first position, she has won a cash prize of $ 150.

The National Education Day is celebrated on 11 November on the birth anniversary of Independent India’s first Education Minister, freedom fighter, scholar, and eminent educationist Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Students of Grade 4E presented a virtual assembly to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, who was a great freedom fighter, an eminent educationist, and the first Union Minister of Education. Students articulated the ideology and contributions of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad towards Indian Education System skillfully through various mediums like- poems, thoughts, talks, and also through a PPT. They presented the assembly on the theme ‘Education is the Key to Success.’ Presidians showcased their eloquence by delivering Speech on the topic ‘Education – need of the hour.’ The class echoed with Slogans presented by students who read “Education for all,” “Each one Teach,” etc. The commemoration reinforced that Education is the most powerful weapon that can change the world. AN INFORMATIVE WEBINAR TO BOOST THE IMMUNITY OF TODDLERS
Feeding toddlers (ages 1 to 5) can often be challenging. That’s because several developmental changes are happening at this time. Toddlers are striving for independence and control. Their growth rate slows down, and with this comes a decrease in appetite. These changes can make mealtime difficult. It’s important for parents to provide structure and set limits for the toddler. These suggestions can help manage mealtimes so that your toddler gets the nutrition they need. Keeping this in mind, Presidium school organized an amazing webinar by well known Nutrition Expert Ms. Jigyasa Madan for a toddler who is a nutritional expert from Nestle India. STUDENTS BUILD THEIR VOCABULARY WITH STORY READING ACTIVITY
Stories play a vital role in the growth and development of students. Reading also helps students with their confidence levels, coping with feelings and language and learning. Reading at home also boosts school performance, it also increases vocabulary, raises self-esteem, builds good communication skills, and strengthens the prediction engine that is the human brain. To ensure all this, the Prep and Nursery students conducted a story reading activity, where the students read stories and shared their views with their classmates and teachers. MINAAL & SATVIK AMONGST ‘ALL INDIA LEVEL TOP 10 WINNERS’ BY ISRO
We take immense pleasure in sharing that Satvik & Minaal Hota participated in an Essay Writing Competition conducted by ISRO in ICC -2020 and secured 4th & 8th position in ‘All India Level Top 10 Winners’ and brought laurels for the school. The competition took place in July & August 2020 in eight categories for students of classes 1 to 12 through online mode. A total of 2,04,631 participants took part in this. Students of classes IX and X had a separate category and had to write an essay on the topic ‘Space Environment, and it’s Challenges.’ Kudos to both of them for achieving yet another milestone. A BEST OUT OF WASTE INTRA CLASS COMPETITION FOR OUR PRESIDIANS
Little hands and imaginative minds came together in a creative burst of energy during the Intraclass “Best out of waste” held by the Academy of creativity: Out of Box. To make students aware of uses of waste material, a best out of waste Intraclass competition was organized for students. This activity helped to enhance the creativity and presentation skills of the student-teachers and enabled them to realize the importance of recycling and reusing waste material available to them. They prepared creative and innovative models and art items from different waste materials. They used reusable and recyclable materials, newspapers, shoe boxes, bangles, ice cream sticks, and much more. The values like preservation, recycling, conservation, reduction, reuse, etc are imbibed on the young heart and minds by demonstrating this noble act of caring for our environment. Read more..
